Kerala is the land of Ayurveda, serene beaches, backwaters, hill stations, spices, tea, rubber, People of kerala are called as Malayalis or Malayalees or Keralites . A colloquial term Mallu is also used. Kerala (1956-2006) is celebrating its golden jubliee year of formation.
